Stumbled upon perhaps a more serious article about doodles and their uses, which I thought I’d share a link to here.
From the article:
The beauty of the doodle is that it requires no educational degrees, no financial status, no training. It only asks that we unleash it and let it do what it does best: help us think.
The author is is a business owner, creative director, speaker, and co-author of one of Amazon’s Top 100 Business Books – I don’t know anything about the author I must confess. But apparently they are currently writing a book called ‘The Doodle Revolution’. This is perhaps a more serious look at doodling and the role it can play in creative thinking processes.
